Today we (our school agers) had a special visit from Officer Mike Gangloff of the Harrisonburg Police Department. He spoke to us about good strangers and bad strangers, people we can trust and things to look out for when we are around people we don't know well. He gave each child a copy of their fingerprints for their parents to keep. In addition,

he and a fellow officer were

kind enough to let us see and sit in their police

cars.

The kids got such a kick out of sitting in the drivers seats! Officer Mike turned on lights and sirens for the kids. It was great!
